West Coast Swing is a modern, smooth, and playful partner dance where you have the opportunity to find your dance style.

The dance has its roots in Lindy hop but has since evolved into its own dance, "West Coast Swing." Sometimes referred to as Modern Swing to distinguish it from traditional swing dances, West Coast Swing is a dance that is enjoyed all around the world, and we have a vibrant community in Umeå that warmly welcomes new dancers!

We dance West Coast Swing to a variety of music styles, primarily modern genres but occasionally also funk, rock, and blues, for instance.
